Expansion of service portfolio for incident management

Transpo-Nuth has grown despite the financial crisis and has got an vehicle fleet of over 100 vehicles. It is able to provide all sorts of transport, e.g. sand and gravel, specialised transport, and even oversize loads.

Transpo-Nuth has started with incident management in the south of the Netherlands in 2016. For this it acquired a truck mounted attenuator (TMA) with 100K attenuator and three VW 1800 S VMS-trailers. With these trailers and the TMA, Transpo-Nuth is allowed the operate during the day and the night, complying to the CROW directives.

Specifications

This TMA 100K is delivered with the following specifications:

  • 80 x 80 pixels Swarco LED display – 3C6 ECO
  • LED lighting
  • 100K attenuator
  • Lighting mast (compressed-air controlled)
  • Certified 3,500 KG tow bar
  • Traffic sign collection
  • Two amber emergency beacons

These VW 1800 S VMS-trailers are delivered with the following specifications:

  • 80 x 160 pixels Swarco LED display – 3C6 ECO
  • LED lighting
  • Certified 3,500 KG tow bar
  • Eight deep-cycle batteries
  • Five 200 Wp solar panels
  • Three portable rumble strips
  • One spare wheel
