Permanent VMS
The primary function of the permanent VMS is to inform, warn and advise motorists in case of e.g. calamities, road works and events.
Our permanent VMS is produced in accordance with European regulations, including the NEN-EN 12966 classification for traffic displays.

Every type and configuration available
The permanent VMS is available in different types and configurations. The route on which the system is used is determining for the type and configuration. E.g. for Dutch roads we produce the following configurations:
- Road VMS type 1 – 192 x 128 pixels, 20 mm ECO
Used on highways with maximum speeds of 100 and 120 km/h - Road VMS type 2 – 144 x 96 pixels, 20 mm ECO
Used on roads with maximum speeds of 70 and 80 km/h or for brief messages alongside highways - Road VMS type 3 – 112 x 80 pixels, 20 mm ECO
Used on roads with maximum speeds of 50 and 60 km/h or for very brief messages alongside highways - Urban VMS type 1 – 192 x 128 pixels, 12 mm ECO
Used on inner city roads

Saving 87% in energy consumption
The LED display of our VMS’s are made in collaboration with the Austrian company Swarco Futurit and have been designed with the latest technology and are in accordance with NEN-EN 12966.
The LED display has got an unique lens technology, which focuses the light. Furthermore, the LED pixels that are not in use do not consume energy. All this results in an energy reduction of 87% compared to conventional LED displays. This energy reduction will reduce the total cost of ownership (TCO) in the long run.
The unique lens technology and LED inactivation result in significant energy savings.
Connected to the traffic management centres
The permanent VMS can be linked to the network infrastructure of national, regional or local authorities. This connection can be made through a wired connection or through a mobile wireless connection in the desired network.
By implementing the VMS in the traffic management centre, it can co-operate in pre-defined control scenarios.
Traffic Fleet: simple, accessible and efficient
Traffic Fleet is a online platform to control temporary and permanent traffic systems. Because of its simplicity all equipment is within your reach. All systems are, if requested, equipped with secured modems and are therefore able to show its live status in Traffic Fleet.
By implementing the temporary and permanent VMS’s in Traffic Fleet, adapting to every traffic situation can be done swiftly and without hassle. All status information and potential error messages can be retrieved in real-time.
